Reluctantly, we have decided to close the Moose River Rug Hooking Studio as of Saturday, May 1st, 2021. The main reason for making this decision is that we are getting older and are not as energetic as we once were. Also, we still have a few things left on our bucket list to do.
We would like to thank all of our loyal and wonderful customers who have supported us over the last 10 ½ years. It has been a pleasure to serve you.
If you are working on a project and are not sure if you have enough material to finish, or need material for your next project, come into the studio or arrange to get what you need. Also, if you have a gift certificate, please arrange to cash it before May 1st.
We had hoped someone would come along who would be interested in buying the business, but so far no one has. We are still interested in selling if there is anyone out there who might be interested.
We will carry on business as usual until 5:00 p.m. on May 1st but keep an eye on the web site and FaceBook page for any further announcements.

Who we are
Present owners Leslie Langille and Blaine Allaby share a lifetime of experience in traditional and modern Nova Scotia rug hooking techniques and styles. In 2010, along with friends Hetty Van Gurp and Ward Carson, they decided to share their love of the art and opened the Moose River Rug Hooking Studio in Clementsport, NS.
